It sustains our lives in every aspect – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and culturally.
It is more than a place.
When we talk about Country, it is spoken of like a person.
To launch our 2021 NAIDOC week event calendar the Flag raising ceremony will be held at the Rumbalara Aboriginal Co- Operative (Mooroopna Site) on Monday 5th July from 8:30am to 10am there were possibly 80 people attend.
Felicia Dean Was is our MC for the Day, with Cheryl Bourke to open with welcome to country, followed by Michael Bourke doing the smoking ceremony and dancing, with Wilfred Stewart playing the didge.
This year our Guest speaker is Natarsha Bamblett.
Our Chairperson Greg James will also speak to the audience.
